Mr Lazarus Malebana

Provides strategic direction, governance oversight, and institutional leadership of the Ekurhuleni Authors Forum. Ensures that the organisation remains aligned to its vision, values, and constitutional mandate while overseeing executive accountability.

Regional Director, Secretary & Executive

Emmanuel Sithole

Holds operational leadership and programme execution of the Ekurhuleni Authors Forum. Leads the implementation of all strategies, policies, and initiatives across the City of Ekurhuleni. Oversees the executive cabinet, city branches, and day-to-day functioning of the Forum, ensuring effective delivery, coordination, and impact at regional level.

Vice Chair, Education & Author Development-Exec

Pastor Benji Motloung

Supports the Chairperson in governance, strategic continuity, and executive leadership. Provides guidance and oversight while contributing to organisational stability and ethical leadership.
Develops and coordinates author training, mentorship, and educational programmes. Strengthens skills development, literary growth, and professional opportunities for authors.

Vice Regional, Events & Community Engagement- Exec

Pastor Pastor Charlotte Msibi Van Staden

Assists the Regional Director in operational coordination, programme delivery, and regional implementation. Supports city branches and community engagement initiatives and ensures continuity in operational leadership.
Plans and manages literary events, community outreach, and stakeholder engagement. Builds strong relationships between authors, communities, and partner institutions.

Media & Communication- Exec

Ms Sebolelo Zwane

Leads public relations, media engagement, and digital communications. Oversees social media platforms, press relations, branding, and author visibility across traditional and digital media.

Finance & Sustainability- Exec

Mr Nelson Molapo

Oversees financial planning, accountability, and sustainability frameworks. Supports funding readiness, financial controls, and long-term resource development aligned with the Forum’s growth strategy.
