This is the true story of a woman who has had more than her fair share of trials and tribulations. She cried tears of sorrow for many years in her life when she was diagnosed with epilepsy in 1998. A number of attempts were made to find a cure, but little did she know that there was none available. The illness was in control of her life and was doing as it pleased with her.
The condition was too hard for her to handle and she wanted to give up, wishing never to gain consciousness again. As if the anguish of her untreated condition was not enough, in 2008 her heart was ripped apart when she was gang-raped by two young men on her way from work. Dragged into bushes next to a church, they even raped her for a second time. Right there and then she wanted to see the Lord with her own eyes as she was silently screaming in her heart for Him to come and rescue her.
Then in 2013, her boyfriend committed suicide while she was pregnant with their child, leaving her with no explanation for his actions. Lost, alone and hopeless, she almost lost her faith in God. She couldn’t pray because she didn’t know how to pray anymore. The only strong words she could utter each and every time she cried and wiped her tears were: “Oh my God”. These words became her transparent handkerchief.
